Our efforts for research and development have been supported by EU structural funds. More specifically, we received 19 852 EUR grant from European Regional Development Fund to investigate further our peptide technology for hair care. As a result of the project (EU51306), we showed that our technology is safe, it enables to deliver ZnO nanoparticles and colour molecules to hair. Our developed hair colour lasted longer than professional hair colours from the salon.
Hairvel has received funding from the R&D program in the Smart Specialization areas in the project no 2014-2020.4.02.20-0268 to develop novel hair-care products with the help of hair binding molecules that do not need the opening of the hair structure for their effect avoiding the need for chemical treatments of the hair.
